The new Tata Aria 4x2 Crossover Finally Launched

The much awaited Tata Aria 4x2 is finally here. Tata Motors had last month announced that it would be launching a two wheel drive, cheaper Aria crossover and the wait is over. In a press release to the media, the Indian auto maker has announced the launch of the two-wheel drive Aria.

Tata Motors had described the Aria as a car with the finesse of a sedan with the power of an SUV. The four-wheel drive version was considered too expensive for a Tata car. Although The Aria came with several features it did not capture the imagination of the Indian SUV buyer due to its high price tag. Tat Motors has responded to this predicament by building this new two wheel drove Aria.

Mr. P M Telang, Managing Director - India Operations, Tata Motors while speaking during the launch of the new 4x2 Aria said: “As the first Indian 4x4 crossover, the Tata Aria has broken a new path for Tata Motors. With the introduction of the Aria 4x2, we make the range comprehensive. The pleasure of the Aria, combining the finesse of a sedan with the muscle of an SUV, can now be availed by a larger customer segment."
