Remote Control Tractor From Sonalika
This new remote controlled tractor has been designed to be used in tough weather conditions such as extreme heat, heavy rains and cold. Sonalika is expected to launch its new tractor within the next six months.
The remote controlled tractor will be build under the International Tractors Ltd (ITL) brand, one of the top three tractor brands in India. ITL is also working on developing more models that are more powerful and yet fuel efficient.
L.D. Mittal, Chairman, Sonalika Group said: “We're designing a tractor which will run on remote control. The idea is that the farmer does not have to toil under the sun for hours while irrigating his field. It will save him time and energy and be better for his health. The development is in the advanced stages and we expect to launch it in the next six months."
The remote controlled tractor from Sonalika is being developed in a such a way that it can also be controlled by the owner's mobile phone. Mr Mittal said the idea was to use the ever increasing mobile network in rural India as a means to control the tractor.
The Sonalika remote controlled tractor appears to be a good development considering the fact that there has been little development in recent times with regard to farm equipment.
