Skoda Celebrates A Decade In India; Offers Pre-Monsoon Check Up
Skoda Auto India began its celebrations by offering a 30 point 'pre-monsoon check up'. Skoda owners can get their checked by Skoda mechanics between 15th and 30th June across India except Tamil Nadu. Skoda has said the pre-monsoon check in Tamil Nadu will be held between 15th and 31st August.
Mr. Thomas Kuehl, Board Member, Sales and Marketing, Skoda Auto India said," Our journey in India has been very promising, we have had a steady increase in sales for every product for the past 10 years and we are looking forward to have good growth graphs in future too. Skoda Auto's Celebration is one such initiative through which we would encourage people to come and be a part of the Skoda family."
Skoda, the Czech carmaker builds the Octavia, Laura, Fabia, Yeti and the Superb in India. It claims all its models are market leaders in their segments. Skoda India's sales grew by a 100% in the month of May 2011 compared with the corresponding period last year. Skoda Auto India which currently has 81 dealerships in India intends to spread its presence further by opening several new showrooms.
