Sachin Buys Nissan GTR After Selling Ferrari
Although it might seem odd that a Ferrari has been replaced by a Nissan, Sachin's decision appears to have been made after much thought. Reports said he was not too keen on parting with the Ferrari. But he was not able to use Ferrari much in Mumbai due to its low ground clearance. The Nissan GTR 530 on the other hand offers similar performance with a higher ground clearance. The GTR is powered by a twin turbo four cylinder engine that can churn out a whopping 530 bhp and 612 Nm of torque.
The Nissan GTR 530 is by many ways offers superlative performance when compared with the Ferrari Modena 360. The Nissan supercar has the record of lapping the Nurburgring test track in Germany at seven minutes and 20 seconds.. It is a full two seconds faster than the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. Such stupendous performance comes at a small price when compared with the Ferrari. The Nissan GTR 530 costs about RS.40 lakhs. Sachin has been reported to have sold the 360 Modena for Rs.1.20 crores. Considering that the Ferrari would have cost at least two crores when new the Nissan GTR is comparatively a cheap bet.
