The growing Indian economy is revealed by yet another unstinted performance by a global auto giant Rolls Royce in the year 2010. The car"s sale volume stood at 2711 units marking a new opening in the Asia-Pacific region in a conducive atmosphere. The feat could be achieved by the Goodwood companies through the ccontributions made by the so called new age maharajahs, the billionaire entrepreneurs.

The new customer list got 70 from India which was just 10 in the previous year and its dealerships are in Mumbai and Delhi. The 2010 performance of 2711 units is double its sale of 1212 in 2008 and marking a thumping 171% rise over its 2009 volume of 1002. The chief of Rolls Royce said the company has the stint to extend its pinnacle in the super luxury car segment and is a clear indication of its supremacy in the Indian market. He cited the company"s plans for 2011 with added confidence, a sustainable business model and a flexible workforce for the ensured success. He added that the new model Ghost is making waves with 80% of the customers being new to Rolls Royce.

The overall growth is allured by the response from net regions comprising Asia, Pacific, the US and the Middle East. For Rolls Royce the US is still the biggest single market in 2010 and China, the UK being the next. The company is confident of grabbing more growth in India, Korea, Singapore and Japan. The current showpiece demonstrates the region of Asia-Pacific as the top in sale index followed by North America, Middle East, UK, and Mainland Europe and South Africa.
