The Rolls-Royce Phantom has been considered as the epitome of luxury motoring. With its long bonnet and spacious cabin, the RR Phantom reminds us the grand old days of coach built luxury cars. The RR Phantom has been the preferred choice of transport of the high and the mighty. However, in a unique marketing campaign, Mobile Store, a cell phone marketing company has been using the RR Phantom to sell mobiles across India.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom has been sighted all across India and our reporter had a glimpse of it this weekend at Bengaluru. This behemoth of a car is huge. One can easily fit a Tata Nano between the front and rear wheels. The idea of using a luxury car like the RR Phantom to sell cell phones is unique and can happen only in India.

Mobile Store is offering free rides to passers-by. Rumours say Rolls-Royce had objected to the use of the Phantom as a publicity tool by Mobile Store. This is surprising as it is the prerogative of the car owner to use the car as he deems fit. More over Mobile Store is actually offering Rolls-Royce greater publicity and visibility than its own publicity campaigns. The only thing objectionable about the car is the odd colour combination of red and white.
