Renault Nissan Captur – The New Concept Car
The design is based on DeZir concept aided by innovative technical dimensions of sensuous nature, said the director of the company"s concept cars. The passengers will feel the essence of mountaineering and sailing on a boat, such a smooth stay is ensured. The graphics add new coloring and fascination while the exteriors are dynamic with their appearance, said the interior designer.
Technically renault nissan captur has got Energy dCi 160 twin turbo engine drawn from Energy dCi 130 and the car has the application of downsizing from Renault to ensure less carbon dioxide emission. The fuel efficiency too is excellent with the performance range of an electric vehicle, courtesy the internal combustion process. This Energy dCi 160 is capable of delivering 118kW from 1.6 lit capacity in the range of 100hp/ lit. There is a peak torque of 380Nm drawn from 1750rpm accelerated from the low revolutions at all driving states. There is a dual clutch EDC gearbox and there is an ensured 99g/km emission of carbon dioxide.
The traction is minimized with the help of RX2®. This is positioned to compensate the loss of traction caused due to the wheel imbalance and the self-lock comes to the rescue. This stablilises the smooth drive on any kind of road. The car is fitted with the latest Visio-system known for the forward facing camera which is placed on the top of the windscreen for enabling support for the drivers. With this technology, images can be embedded so as to convert them as real images of the ensuing objects ahead. The basis for this is augmentation reality principle to help the drivers assume the outer world perceptions. This process is done on superimposing the images to suit the need of trouble free and relaxed drive.
