Venkateshwara's New Vaahanam - Renault Fluence

A Renault Fluence has been donated to the Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams (TTD), the administrative board governing the abode of Lord Venkateshwara. Bhanu Prakash Reddy, the BJP spokesperson in Andhra Pradesh, on behalf of the French carmaker handed over the keys of the Renault Fluence to K.S.Srinivasa Raju, Joint Executive Officer, TTD. The Luxury sedan is worth Rs.15 lakh and was launched in India recently.

There have been a variety of donations to Lord Venkateshwara ranging from the smallest to the greatest. Several devotees have offered gold, diamonds, silver, money, land, animals and property. This might be the first time the a car has been offered. The TTD board has accepted the donation. It remains to be seen how it will use the Renault Fluence

The Renault Fluence is the first car launched by Renault after it came out of a joint venture with Mahindra and Mahindra. The French carmaker will be launching three new models in the next two years.
