Peugeot EX1 Concept To Celebrate 200th Anniversary
Peugeot unveiled the EX1 concept vehicle in 2010 and Drivespark brings the car to you. This fully electric concept has been developed with an intention of highlighting the carmaker's history as well as present its future plans. This car is fully electric and has been designed as a vintage race car. Peugeot has been involved with racing and the open top design clearly shows that.
The electric power for the Peugeot hybrid indicates how the auto world is moving away from fossil fuels towards more eco friendly sources of power. Peugeot took extra care to ensure the EX1's design was perfect. In its own words, Peugeot had stated the EX1 concept was shaped like a water drop.
Electric cars are usually considered to be heavy but the Peugeot EX1 concept's light weight design will ensure it offers top class performance. It can hurl itself to a top speed of 161mph and can accelerate to 100kmph in just 2.24 seconds.
Peugeot which is set to display some of its cars at the forthcoming Delhi Auto Expo has not confirmed which cars it will be bringing to India. Will the EX1 Hybrid Concept be among them?
