Nissan Micra To Cost Rs 11170 More
The Japanese car maker Nissan Motor India said it is rising the price of its Micra by Rs 11170 at once to meet the rising input costs. It said the rise is common for both petrol and diesel versions in the range of Rs 2500 - Rs 11170 from the current Rs 4.06 lakh - Rs 4.36 lakhs for petrol and Rs 5.59 lakhs - Rs6.05 lakhs for diesel versions. Nissan has untouched the import ranges such as X-Trail SUV, Teana luxury sedan and 370Z sports car. Nissan"s MD and CEO said the continued rise in the input costs forced it to effect the hike for the price of Micra.
With this Nissan joins other companies who have effected the price rise in recent times. Maruti Suzuki hiked the prices of its vehicles in the range of Rs 1100- Rs 9000 quoting the same factors. M&M said its vehicles too will cost higher by Rs 15000 while Tata Motors effected rise to its vehicles, barring its cheapest car Nano, by Rs 36000 on range of cars. Hyundai may effect rise in price at any time.
