New Volkswagen Jetta To Be Launched
The Official launch of the new Volkswagen Jetta will be held on 17th August. The stylish new Jetta gets large tail lights that add to its flair. The Jetta's frontal design is in sync with other Volkswagen models. The rear designs hints at being a copy of the Audi A4. The new Jetta will be powered by Volkswagen's two-litre diesel engine that generates 140bhp.
As far as the petrol engine for the new Volkswagen Jetta, it is likely to get a new 1.4L TSI turbo petrol motor paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Volkswagen expects the diesel Jetta to be the primary focus for the Indian market considering the recent fuel hike that has increased the demand towards diesel cars.
Volkswagen India claims the new Jetta will offer better space than its predecessor, as it is longer and wider than before. It is expected to emulate the Passat by offering class-leading levels of equipment, refinement and performance at an attractive price.
