Toyota Launches Latest Corolla Altis in Delhi

The new Toyota Corolla Altis was launched amidst much fanfare at New Delhi yesterday. The stunning new Corolla Altis gets a new exterior design that gives it a sporty look. Available with both petrol and diesel engines the new Corolla Altis offers a credible combination of dynamism and performance.

The petrol variant is equipped with a 2ZR Dual VVT-I engine and super CVT-i with 7 speed sequential shiftmatic gearbox that delivers high output and torque. The engines generates 140 PS and 173 Nm of torque. Toyota claims the new engine has been designed to provide excellent driving performance, best in class fuel economy and environmental performance with lower emissions. Buyers can opt either the CVTi seven speed gear box or the six-speed manual.

The diesel variant continues with the previous edition's 1ND D-4D diesel engine paired to a six speed manual transmission. The Japanese carmaker has claimed the Corolla Altis diesel will offer the best in class fuel economy of 21.45 km/l. The diesel variant can be distinguished by its new grille that comes with a bar and mesh.

The striking difference between the previous Corolla Altis and the newly launched Corolla Altis is the dynamic exterior design. The contemporary exterior design provides the new Corolla Altis with a sporty look that wasn't found in the previous edition. Even the interior has got a upgrade with high quality leather and wood finish. The new Corolla Altis also gets new features such as push start/stop button, smart entry, new DVD touch screen audio with bluetooth, new design optitron meter with eco diving indicator, remote boot opener and reverse sensor.

The New Corolla Altis was launched in the presence of Michihiko Sato, Chief Engineer - Corolla Altis, Hiroshi Nakagawa, Managing Director, Toyota Kirloskar Motor and Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director, Marketing, Toyota Kirloskar Motor . The New Corolla Altis will be available in the price range of Rs. 10,53,300 and Rs. 14,77,400 ( petrol variant ) and Rs. 11,46,500 and Rs. 14,55,000 (diesel variant), ex-showroom Delhi and will be available at all Toyota dealerships. The Japanese carmaker will also be launching the hatchback version of the Etios soon.
