F1 To Have Karthikeyan On Hispania License

Almost five years after his stint of exile, Narain Karthikeyan is now driving his force in Formula One race. This time he has contracted with Hispania Racing Team after his exit in 2005 when he drove with Jordan, followed by a test drive for Williams team for two years in 2006 and 2007. He was full of enthusiasm to have returned to the Grand Prix event and said the occasion proved the dream come true for him. At the age of 33, he is still fond of driving his might and expressed his desire, will and conviction to make the best in the event.

He expressed his gratitude to the Tata Group which made his return possible. He said he could not resist the delay to team with Kolles for the season. The same spirit was echoed by Colin Kolles who said his teaming with Narain is to be a new experience. He revealed his long standing rapport with Narain whose force at the Jordan event was mammoth. Kolles was the team principal at the Jordan event during F1.

In the absence of F1, during these interim period, Karthikeyan had involved in many other events like A1GP for Team India. He got prize in China and Britain during 2007to 2009. His presence was there in Kolles Audi Team in the Le Mans Series and the Le Mans 24-Hr race to be the first Indian participant. He took active participation in the Atlantic race and the NASCAR Camping World Truck series in the US. In this event, he got the distinction of “Most Popular Driver".

The current turn of events will see Karthikeyan"s presence under Tata sponsor for fetching 8 million for Hispania. More sponsors are pouring into the back up to see the master drive again. Market sources remark that Karthikeyan had entered into the GP with a back of the grid team five years ago with which he is teaming again now. Same is the strategy for Hispania, which contracted Karun Chandhok of India last year and for this year Indian GP too it will facilitate an Indian driver. However, Narain will be in Valencia, Spain for the pre-season test drive. During the time break, Hispania is to have the full fledged resources for its technology growth. To counter the dismal show in the last season, the Spanish firm is firm to retain its control in the ensuing events. There is a lot of hope from the nexus between Narain and the Williams.

According to the manager of Narain, the speedster is expected to be active whole through the season this year, as the sponsors have assured the financial stability. For the expanding force, Hispania is likely to press the upgraded version of chassis of 2010 enabled by Cosworth Engine, and the Williams gearbox. HRT claims that the splendid performance of the Williams Grand Prix Engineering has given much reliability for the ever best competitive spirit in the much hyped Formula event. The news of Narain"s return has created more fun and force among the fans for the Indian GP scheduled on October 30 this year.
