Maruti Suzuki Kizashi To Be Launched This Feb

Maruti Suzuki India, the largest car manufacturer is all geared to enter the luxury car segment with its “Kizashi". The luxury sedan is said to be in the Indian markets from February and is completely manufactured in the main Suzuki facility in Japan and is imported to India.

Maruti Suzuki Kizashi is said to compete with upper end and lower end cars like Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, Honda Civic, Volkswagen Jetta and Toyota Corolla. These sedans are priced between Rs 12 lakh to Rs 20 lakh.

According to the industry estimates, the size of the A4 and A5 segment is over 55,000 units per year. Maruti Suzuki Kizashi is powered by a 2.4 litre petrol engine and is said to be available in both manual and automatic transmission options. The luxury sedan is rated as the well-packaged vehicle and Maruti Suzuki has worked hard to ensure maximum comfort for the passenger. It is capable of churning out a solid 178PS at 6,500 rpm and generates 230Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. Also mated to a super slick six speed continuously variable transmission (CVT), the Maruti Suzuki luxury sedan promises to be quite the driver's sedan.
