Mahindra Observes 23% Growth In April Month Sales
Further, the domestic sales from the company stood at 30,349 units during April as against 25,037 units during same period last year which is an increase of 21 percent. And the Passenger Vehicles segment (which includes the UVs as well as the newly launched Verito) observed a growth of 20 percent, having sold 15,459 units in April 2011, as against 12,923 units during April 2010. Adding, the 4-wheel pick-up and commercial passenger segment has witnessed a growth of 16 percent whereas the 3-wheelers segment has grown by an impressive 45 percent.
Rajesh Jejurikar, Chief Executive, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) said that they are happy with the 23 percent growth that they have observed in April month. Also, all our brands have been doing well and with recent launches such as Verito, Maxximo Mini Van and Gio Compact Cab, the company is positive to consolidate the company"s position in these segments.
