Two New Trucks From Mahindra-Navistar
The Chief Operating Officer of the company said these launches made the company a full range player in the growing demand for the commercial vehicles in the Indian market. The trucks are made under the technological know how from the US Navistar which has got more than 175 years of expertise. The company MD said the main objective is to fill in the pipelines having its product range in addition to the existing MN25 and MN31 models. He added that the marketing will be expanded with 45dealers in March which will be increased further to 100 in another 18 -24 months.
There are 220 service outlets to offer services to the customers in addition to mobile service workshop for round the clock services on road. This is further added by 430 roadside assistance centres for rendering services to the customers. Mahindra & Mahindra"s net auto and tractor channel network panel will do all sort of services for these vehicles.
The JV between Mahindra & Mahindra and Navistar of International Truck and Engine Corporation has been in the market since 2005 for light, medium and heavy commercial vehicles in India. The new arrivals are aimed to feed the Indian requirement in compliance with the latest technological expertise of Navistar. The products are manufactured from the Chakan plant where M&M manufactures its range of products.
