Mahindra Maxximo Minivan Launched

Mahindra and Mahindra yesterday launched the new Maxximo mini van. The latest product from M&M will caterto the Indian market. The Maxximo is a result of Mahindra investing Rs 130 Crores in platform development. Mahindra will also invest an additional Rs 70 crore to built its manufacturing favility.This minivan will be a direct competitor of the Tata Magic and the Maruti Omni. It is powered by a 25 bhp C2 CRDe diesel engine that can propel it to speeds greater than 70km/h.

M&M Automotive & Farm Equipment Sectors President Pawan Goenka while speaking during the launch said, "Maxximo Mini Van is priced at Rs 3.2 lakh (Ex-Showroom BS3, Navi Mumbai) and will be developed at the company's state-of-the-art Chakan plant in Maharashtra." he also said the minivan will be sold at 230 showrooms as well as 600 outlets across India. Mahindra has claimed the minivan will re-define the entry-level Contract Carriage and Stage Carriage segments.

The Maxximo is a spacious eight-seater with comfortable seats. The suspension system is tuned to offer high ride comfort. It offers top level safety aided by its robust chassis construction as well as booster-assisted Twin LSPV brakes. The appeal of the Maxximo is increased by its 18km/l mileage as well as its stylish exterior design.
