Mahindra First Choice, the used car division of Mahindra and Mahindra has announced its monsoon scheme. The scheme is available at all Mahindra First Choice outlets and is open to any car. You can get your car checked for just Rs.149. Mahindra First Choice said the monsoon scheme would be valid from the date the monsoons start officially until 30th September. Customers can visit their closest Mahindra First Choice outlet to confirm the dates.

Monsoons are the time of the year where most accidents occur. Although the weather can be blamed for some of the accidents, a proper check before the onset of the monsoons can help several accidents. As part of the scheme Mahindra First Choice technicians will provide a anti-rust treatment to all steel accessories, a complete shampoo wash, check the battery and self starter, headlight focussing and beam adjustment, check wiper motor and clean air filter. They will also check if the car has any leaks from which water can enter.

Mahindra First Choice has said the charges for the monsoon scheme was for labour only and added that any additional charges for spares and additional taxes are extra.
