Ford Figo's “Four Fold Sale”, A Success

The ongoing demand for its Figo hatchback has pleased Ford India with four fold sale rise in January this year. The sales of 10026 units against 2453 units of the same month of 2010 brought the new milestone of 10000 units. This superceeded its own performance in March 2010 when it sold 9478 units.

In January 2011 the sales figure for Figo stood at 8600 units which happens to be the ever best sales performance for a month. Ford witnessed the triple-fold sale increase in 2010, which made it landmark year. The tempo has been carried over to this year too as Ford has peaked to 10000 units, said the Ford MD. The net volume for 2010 was 83887 units an increase by 184% compared to the volume for the 2009. The exclusive sale volume for Figo is 68000 units as of now. He said Figo has been executing a good job to the customers with great value for money in addition to citations by way of distinctive awards. The Ford company"s facility in Chennai, manned with 5000 odd labors, makes Ikon, Endeavor, Figo and Fiesta.
