Ford Reports Record Sale In February

The American car maker Ford"s Indian wing Ford India has created a remarkable stint in the market during the last month by posting a sale growth volume of 188%. The main element which constituted to record sale of Ford is the high sale of its Figo compact car and the net sale of Ford during the month stood at 9,293 units against 3,223 units in February 2010.

Figo has moved to more than 76000 owners since its launch in 2009. The company"s MD and President claimed that there has been a phenomenal growth due to this Figo in India. He added that Ford India will soon launch the premium sedan Fiesta among the eight new models slated for the Indian market by 2015.
