Ford Introduces A New Drive In Kerala

The subsidiary of Ford Motor Co is calculating to secure 50% growth in this year in domestic market by selling 1 lakh units. The net sale volume in 2009 stood at nearly 80000 units. The major chunk of its sale came from Kerala state where it sold 1500 units within 100 days of Ford Figo"s launch. Ford Figo"s sale volume has already clinched the mark of 4000 units and the company anticipates to double this in 2011. The company, he added, is scheduling for launch of 8 new models in another four years.
