Ford Recalls Its Models In US & Canada
The continued story of recalls from major global players is again on the newsstands. This time it is Ford which went into the trap after its trucks involved in fire incidents. The company announced the recall in its homeland and in Canada following the news of fire incidents resulted out of two faults.
The company made it clear that the recall is in no way connected to the new models in the market but applicable to the trucks of Ford Rangers, numbering about 25000 units. The company has identified the lapse in the uncovered engine component which may cause direct contact of fuel line to the throttle body shield. The company sensed that this flaw may end up with fuel odor in the body and possible fuel leakage. The other one is with F-series truck in addition to Edge and Lincoln MKX models. The vehicles failed to comply with the exact set of characters at the dealer showroom.
