'Evoque Range Rover' The Best Car Ever!
Evoque won this award against those who were in the fray such as Audi A7 and Alfa Romeo Giulietta and was adjudged by a panel consisting of the industry"s best designers and along with opinions. The company"s Director received the award who expressed his delight of accepting the prestigious award , which, he said is the recognition from peers in the industry.
The Editor of Car Design News said that Evoque represented the best translation from concept car to production vehicles found in recent times and it deserved the award. The Associate Editor of the Edition said Evoque translated the brand identity of range rover to a smaller and even very ideal product sans retro or derivative. To make the moment more impressive Land Rover has released a short film on designing of this Evoque.
The film depicts the viewpoints of the designers and the groundbreaking features of Evoque over other competitors. The film is devised in phases of four series and the current display is the first with initial design, through rigorous calibration and development processes to final engineering tests. The rest of the series will be on online during the ensuing months. This accolade is in addition to Design Award from Czech"s Auto Design and Styling, and Best SUV of 2011 by Motor Press Editorial Group of Portugal. To peak all, the car was voted as the Most Exciting Car of 2011 by the online users called Whatcar.com in the UK.
