Diesel Car
The Union Heavy Industries Minister Praful Patel said that the diesel cars are not as much pollutant as claimed to be and he would have dialogues with the Delhi government. The government at the capital city has increased the prices on diesel vehicles by 25% and he said he would ask for the motive which made the government to make such a decision.

He said the discrimination on diesel cars could not be accepted and he negated the price rise on diesel vehicles as an unfair idea. However, it is interesting to note that the Union Environment Minister too has taken a round about remark over price rise of diesel cars with diesel versions as he dubbed them as diesel guzzlers.

Mr. Patel took note of the proposed free trade agreement with the European Union and said the Delhi government"s move may affect the business prospects much. There has been a cry among the Indian makers not to cut the import duty under the free trade agreement basis as they fear that such a move may affect the domestic market.
