Bosch Reports 31 Percent Growth In The 1st Quarter Of 2011
The Bosch Diesel Systems which is a consistent and all time performer has seen an impressive growth of 37 percent. Automotive Aftermarket, Power Tools and Security Technology divisions has observed strong double digit growth of 22.7 percent, 29.2 percent and 41.2 percent respectively. And Bosch Gasoline Systems division has observed 9.9 percent of growth.
Further, the income and net sales from operations in the first quarter of the year stands at Rs.2,072.7 crores that is 31.1 percent higher than the corresponding period in 2010. Adding, the profit before tax is Rs.404.1 crores (19.5 percent of nets sales and operating income from operations), an increase of 38.4 percent compared to the same period last year. And the profit after tax is Rs.274.4 crores (13.2 percent of nets sales and operating income from operations) which is an increase of 35.4 percent compared to the same period last year.
Moreover, the operating profit of Bosch has increased by 39.9 percent over the previous three months. Due to the higher interest rates, the interest income has been increased. On the whole, good growth has sustained in the first quarter of this year.
