BMW Hybrid Cars To Hit Indian Roads In 2013

BMW India has revealed the Vision Efficient Dynamics concept hybrid car in India. Adding, the car delivers a mileage of 26.5 kpl with diesel and can reach a high speed of 250kph. And iIt is powered by a 3-cylinder diesel engine and two electric motors.

BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics is conceived as a plug-in hybrid. Lithium-polymer rechargeable battery that positioned centrally in a longitudinal chassis element can be completely charged at a conventional power socket within two and half hours. The Minister for Heavy Industries, Prafful Patel launched the car.

Dr. Andreas Schaaf, President, BMW India said that BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics as an example of cutting-edge technology is basically a continuation of BMW Efficient Dynamics development strategy. In the year 2013, the car is expected to hit Indian roads.
