Audi Fetches 81% Sales Growth
The year 2010 went off in a pompous manner for the German luxury car maker Audi with the sales growth reaching 81% came out from sales of 3003 units against its previous year"s 1658 units. Audi is on the verge of capitalizing on this growth and intends take over the feat to this year too as it is busy designing the new launches in A8L and A6.
The company"s Head for India said that it is seeking further growth in this year too with the launches ahead. He cited the sales growth in December 2010 in particular when it was 96% by selling 212 units against 108 units done in the same period of 2009.
The global sale volume for Audi in 2010 stood at 1092400 units, the highest ever in its phase against 950000 units sold in the previous year. The existing models from Audi are A4, A6, Q5, Q7 and TT in addition to Audi R8 sports version.
