Audi Launches New A8 L Luxury Sedan
Audi India chief Michael Perschke who unveiled the car said the company had already sold the first batch of 20 cars for India. He said: “The addition of powerful engine to the Audi A8 L range in India will further consolidate our position in the limousine segment."
The new A8 L luxury sedan is powered by a 6.3-litre FSI engine capable of generating 500bhp and 625Nm of torque. Such power will enable the A8 L to deliver sports car like performance. Audi India in its statement has said the A8 L can sprint to 100kmph from rest within 4.7 seconds.
The engine is paired with an eight-speed tiptronic gearbox that shifts gears effortlessly. Drivers can shift gears either through a gear lever or through optional paddles on the steering wheel.
The Audi A8 L proves itself as a luxury sedan with features such as fully adjustable front and rear seats, communication systems, bluetooth, sun roof, two monitors on the front seats, ambient interior lighting and much more.
