Audi E-tron Enthrals Melbourne Auto Show
The Audi E-tron concept has spectacular looks along with incredible performance. All its wheels get individual motors that deliver incredible amounts of torque. The E-tron can reach a top speed 200kmph and can run for 238 kilometres on a single charge.
The prototype of the E-tron supposedly costs more than $2 million. Audi wants to price the production version at about $160,000 or Rs.71 lakhs. Audi is expected to build just 100 models of this electric super car and will sell it in North America and Europe.
Electric cars were usually considered boring and lifeless. However with increasing focus on emissions, carmakers are investing millions in developing electric cars that retain the car brand's identity while having zero emissions. The Audi E-tron while still being a concept can give raise to several new electric cars.
