Ford To launch All New Fiesta Today
The new Ford Fiesta is expected to be priced between Rs.7 lakh and 9 lakhs. It will have some features that are a first in its segment such as cruise control and voice control. The Fiesta also gets electric power steering that offers exact feel along with the added benefits of improved fuel economy. Ford has tried to develop a new world car in the Fiesta. The new Fiesta has already been launched in the USA and Europe.
The Ford Fiesta will be available with both petrol and diesel engines. The Fiesta's petrol engine is a 1.5 litre version capable of generating 108bhp with a best in class mileage of 17kmpl. The 1.5-litre TDCI diesel engine can generate 90bhp and can deliver fuel economy of 23.5kmpl.
The all new Ford Fiesta also promises to handle as well as its predecessor. Further Ford has also decked the Fiesta with several features such as Voice control, cruise control, bluetooth functions and the leather wrapped steering wheel. Alloy Wheels are not available only in the entry level version. All in all there will be eight variants of the new Ford Fiesta.
Ford is hoping the Ford Fiesta can match or even overtake Hyundai's new Fluidic Verna. Ford has also mimicked Hyundai's strategy by saying the Fiesta would be available in eight different variants.
