AB Group To Enter Luxury Car Sales

The fleet operation in the domestic market has been shooting up to new heights. AB Group of Chennai is a prominent one involved in this business with a turn over of Rs174 crore in Southern India. Now the company is on the verge of retail sale of luxury cars in its area of operations, in addition to its entry into the used car sale and services. The company"s Director said that they are aware of the great demand for luxury cars market in India. Sensing this demand, it is to import and sell luxury cars of left over brands this year. Currently the company is servicing the higher end cars at Rs1 crore above category. The company takes advantage of the whooping service costs billed by the makers of luxury cars in India. AB Group"s service station called The Torque offers the very best service for the luxury cars at an affordable rates which are still less than charged by the manufacturers. He said that some of the luxury car companies are not able to sell their products due to this service constraint. Either there might not be skilled technicians or the charges may be heavy and hence some owners of luxury cars bring in such technicians from Singapore or other centres.

AB Group ventured into this car servicing sector as its trial with buses proved successful. Parveen Travels is an integral element of this AB Group with more than 1000 vehicles of which 750 are buses. AB Group claims that they are able to provide excellent and world class service for such luxury cars. He clarified that the growth rate of pre-owned luxury cars is in proportion to the growth increase in its sale. The company does the scanning of the car before sale, and offers park-and-sell or buy-and-sell services under pre-owned car scheme.
