Toyota Car Cum Smart Phone Unveiled

Toyota Fun Vii
Toyota has unveiled a brand new concept car that removes any difference between a car and a smart phone. The Japanese carmaker has displayed the concept car named as the Fun Vii at the on going Tokyo auto show. The concept is aimed at showing Toyota's endeavours towards advanced technologies in cars.

The Fun Vii has been described by Toyota boss Akio Toyoda as a Smart phone on wheels. Quite rightly so as the car works like a personal computer and the interior panels have display screens where passengers can get to see everything they usually do on a smart phone's screen.

Toyota has not confirmed when this new concept car will become a production vehicle but has only said this could be built anytime in this century. The Fun Vii has display screen on the outside to. In fact the entire exterior is a screen where you can have your own wall paper. This means your car will look different at any given day.

Toyota has also unveiled another concept car, the FT-EV III, a electric car that has a range of 105kilometres on a full charge. Another interesting car from Toyota is the Aqua, a small hybrid car that is set to go on sale in Japan soon. It is expected to be branded as a small Prius outside Japan.
