Force MPV To Be Built on Mercedes Platform

Force Motors which only put the two wheel drive Force One on to the market has said it will soon launch two more models. One of them will be the four wheel drive Force One SUV while the other model will be a new MPV. We had earlier reported that Force would soon launch a new MPV.
Reports say the new MPV will be built on the platform on which Mercedes-Benz builds its Viano MPV. Daimler and Force Motors have have long standing relationship. The German company has been offering technological assistance to Force in all its people movers and vans. The Mercedes-Benz Viano is a MPV that is being sold all across the globe. It has a reputation of offering the services of a van while delivering the luxury of a car.
If reports about the Force MPV having the same platform as the Mercedes-Benz Viano are true then we can surely expect another excellent model from Force Motors. Unconfirmed reports say the new MPV will be launched by 2013. This new Force MPV will most likely be powered by the same 2.2-litre diesel engine found in the Force One SUV. It will have eight seats spread across three rows.
This Force MPV would be competing against the Tata Winger which is based on the Renault traffic. The company is also expected to launch a new 28 seater traveller.
