Bangalore Auto Expo's Classic Car Display

The vintage car and bike display at the Bangalore Auto Expo was one of the highlights of the Bangalore Auto Expo. Some of the classic cars on display have a huge legacy of their own. Notable classic cars on show were the Jaguar Mark VII, 1938 Adler, Vintage Beetle, Ford Grain Truck, Chevrolet Fleet Master and a Ford V8.

Standing majestically at the classic car display was a 1952 Jaguar Mark VII four door saloon. This British luxury car was once the costliest car sold in the UK. Powered by a 3.5-litre V6 engine capable of generating 160bhp, this jag could travel up to speeds over 160kmph. We also saw an American beauty. A huge Chevrolet Fleet Master Saloon.

Another classic car on display at the Bangalore Auto Expo was the 1938 Adler four-door convertible. This car is powered by a four-cylinder 2-litre engine. This German built car has a soft top canvas roof that can be easily removed or added.

While we did see several saloon cars at the show, there was one classic car that looked different. It was the 1927 Ford Grain Truck, a light commercial vehicle built in the USA.
