Nissan Sunny Launched In Bangalore At Rs.5.85 Lakh

Nissan, the Japanese carmaker launch its latest made in India car, the Sunny sedan at a glittering ceremony in Bangalore. The Sunny is Nissan's first Entry level sedan in India and it is now available in Bangalore with a starting price of Rs.5.85 lakhs for the entry level XE model.

Mr Dinesh Jain, CEO of Hover Automotive India, Nissan's sales and marketing partner in India said: "Sunny is our second made in India offering to the Indian market. We are sure it will deliver the best in class performance and prolel Nissan India further."

Nissan has said the Sunny is not just a car but a CAAR, referring to its high interior space and comforts. Nissan has boasted that the Sunny is well above its competition in the same segment. The Sunny is a large car despite being built on the same V platform as the Micra small car.

The exterior design is stylish and aerodynamic too. The headlights are a treat to the eye and so is the front grille. The Sunny was first launched in China in 2010. The Sunny has a 45 year history the current model available in India is the tenth generation model.

The interiors of the Sunny are definitely a highlight as it is more spacious that you think it is. The interior is also finished immaculately and the XL and XV versions get cup holders as standard. The leg room in the rear and the front is optimum and even a tall person will not find the seats to be cramped.

Coming to the features of the Sunny, Nissan has not compromised on safety despite the car being an entry level mid sized sedan. All the variants of the Sunny, the XE, XL and XV get anti lock breaking system, electronic brake force distribution, break assist, engine immobilizer and air bags as standard.
