Toyota Unveils 2012 Camry Sedan In US

The new 2012 Camry which will soon be displayed at select Toyota showrooms and will be sold from October. The new Camry is the seventh generation and will be sold in the US only. Several Toyota fans were expecting the new 2012 Camry to get a new revolutionary design. But they were disappointed after Toyota gave the new car just some minor cosmetic changes.
These changes do not make the Camry look bad, rather it exterior design is refreshed to a large extent. The interior space is more than the previous version and Toyota claims better driving dynamics. The new Camry gets a hybrid power train to making it one of the most fuel efficient volume sedans in the US.
Bob Carter, Toyota Division group vice president and general manager while speakling during the launch said: “The all-new 2012 Camry blends an evolution of the car"s values – such as comfort, efficiency, reliability and safety – with a more appealing design and engaging driving experience."
Here are some of the features of the new 2012 Toyota Camry:
10 standard airbags: dual-stage advanced SRS front airbags, front and rear seat-mounted side airbags, side curtain airbags and a driver"s and front passenger"s knee airbag. Safety features include Toyota"s Star Safety System including Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRAC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist and Smart Stop Technology brake-override system. It also features an electronic tyre pressure monitoring system as standard.
