Toyota Etios Diwali Offer - Insurance At Rs.1
You might have noticed, the insurance offer is only available along with the petrol variants of the Etios and Liva. This is clearly a sign that the diesel variants are having better sales than their counterparts. The existing fuel prices have made diesel cars more attractive and Toyota along with several carmakers is struggling to hit the right balance.
The Etios and Etios Liva hatchbacks are Toyota's entry level sedan and hatchback respectively. Both cars are available with both petrol and diesel variants. Sales of the petrol variants were not as inspiring after the launch of the diesel variants. Toyota dealers are now offering exchange bonuses to the buyers of the petrol variants.
The Etios and Etios Liva are two cars that Toyota developed specifically for India. The Japanese carmaker was hoping these two models will help it gain a greater hold on the lucrative small car market. Although both cars have performed well in terms of sales, the diesel variants have far outclassed the petrol versions.
