16 Girls Packed Inside Volkswagen Up!
This is quite an achievement but it did not create any record as there was no official to record the event. However, 16 people sitting inside a car is testimony to its space. The idea to make so many people sit inside the Up is truly an innovative idea.
While every one will be wondering how these people managed to sit inside the car. Skeptics can say these people were acrobats able to cramp themselves inside the smallest spaces. In fact all these people were workers at VW's plant in Germany.
Seven people managed to sit in the rear cabin, four on the front seat, while one girl sat on the dash board and two people managed to squeeze themselves in to the Up's 252-litre boot and another two found space for themselves in the foot wells of the car!
The VW small car is its cheapest too. It is expected to be launched in India with right hand drive and with four doors soon. The up has already impresses auto journalists in Europe with its crisp looks, efficient engines and fine build quality. With competition for small cars raising in India, the Up will add to the heat.
