Nissan's Rs.52,000 Offer For Sunny

Car sales are shrinking and there is more evidence here. Any new car will normally be sold without any discounts but Nissan Motors is offering discounts worth RS.52,000 for its recently launched sedan Sunny. The Nissan Sunny's discount is surprising because it is probably the cheapest car in its segment and is equipped with several features that you will only find in the top variants of cars in the same segment.

Nissan's discount offer for the Sunny is worth Rs.52,000 and it consists of free insurance worth Rs.27,000 and a cash discount of Rs.25,000. Buyers can also choose from several optional extras such as floor mats, sun shades, brand new seat covers and neck pillows. Nissan is also offering beautiful alloy wheels, body side fairings and mud guards. Some of the other options available are parking sensors, LED number plate, remote locking facility for car safety and indicators integrated into the ORVM.

The Nissan Sunny was launched in September with a starting price of Rs.5.85 Lakhs and is currently available only with a petrol engine. A diesel engine is expected to be added to the Sunny soon. Nissan has already managed to sell 1340 units so far. The discount offers are expected to cushion any drop in sales during the last two months of this year. Nissan wants to increase year end sales.
