Four Month Waiting Period For Diesel Swift

The new Maruti Suzuki Swift has received a huge response from car buyers. We were wondering what the waiting period of the new swift would be. Recent reports say the diesel Swift's waiting period at some showrooms has crossed four months. Maruti Suzuki has said about 80 per cent of the new Swift's bookings was diesel. Even the petrol variant of the Swift is now commanding a waiting period of two to three months.

The waiting period for the diesel swift was expected to be long. The waiting period for the Swift DZire diesel is currently more than six months. Maruti Suzuki is under severe pressure to increase its production of diesel Swifts.

While buyers who had booked the new swift before the launch can expect to wait for their new Swift for a shorter period. However people who want to book the car now will definitely wait for at least four months.

Maruti Suzuki is trying to reduce the waiting period for the new Swift by reducing its exports to Hungary. The waiting period for the new swift also depends on which variant you are choosing along with the paint colour. If you are opting for a rarely used paint colour then you can be rest assured the waiting will be longer.
