Honda Glitter To Accord, Civic for Festive Season
The AVN system to be made available in the Accord and Civic will come wit a full touch scree, navigation system, DVD player, Bluetooth, Rear parking camera, USB port with iPOD and MP3 support along with a Radio tuner. The AVN system offers a comprehensive infotainment system and will definitely add to the class of the Accord as well as the Civic.
Honda is offering the AVN system and the one year insurance for just One Rupee. The Japanese carmaker is following other carmakers in terms of offering more features without increasing the car's price to attract customers. Volkswagen has already launched the Breeze variants of the Polo and the Vento which offer more features that the standard models.
Carmakers are keen to attract customers during the festive season but are not showing signs of reducing prices as they do not expect a huge jump in sales. Honda has already slashed prices of its City and Jazz in an attempt to boost sales. Honda is also offering attractive finance options, 2+2 extended warranty and four years of road side assistance.
