Mahindra Launches New Entry Level Scorpio
The new Scorpio is powered by a 75bhp m2DiCR engine. Mahindra has claimed the Scorpio EX will offer great driveability coupled with refined performance. The EX also gets the micro-hybrid technology which aids in saving fuel. The system idles the engine whenever power is not required thus ensuring low fuel consumption. Mahindra has advertised a fuel economy of 14kmpl (as per ARAI).
Mahindra has said the EX is Bharath Stage IV compliant. This means the new Scorpio emits lower carbons making it more eco-friendly. This does not mean the Scorpio EX is devoid of performance. The EX can sprint to 60kmph within just 11.2 seconds.

The Scorpio EX will be available in four attractive colours - Rocky Beige, Diamond White, Fiery Black and Mist Silver. The carmaker had earlier stated it would launch a cheaper Scorpio that would cater to young professionals.
