Have A Look At Skoda's Cheapest Fabia
The two new variants do not boast about any new features. Rather they are rather stripped down version of the same Fabia we have been seeing on Indian roads. This is Skoda's attempt at further reducing the price of the Fabia hatchback.
Some of the missing features of the Fabia active include a driver side air bag and interior fittings. This has reduced the price of the Active by Rs.3,000. The Skoda Fabia Active petrol will be available for Rs.4.4 lakhs while the Skoda Fabia diesel costs Rs.5.53 lakhs. Skoda India has also stripped down other Fabia variants too.
Skoda India has smartly launched these cheaper Fabia variants as this will help maintain or even improve sales in these times of increased interest rates and fuel prices. The Fabia Active is now cheaper than the previous entry level Fabia, the Classic.
Skoda has also added another set of variants of the Fabia which offer more equipment. They are the Fabia Active Plus and the Fabia Ambition Plus. These two models have driver side air bags and some minor additional features. The top end Elegance now comes with rear wiper washer and 15 inch alloy wheels for an additional price of Rs.10,000. The Fabia Elegance is now the only model to get air bags and ABS as standard.
