Renault Adds More Features To Fluence, Calls It E4
Renault was not able to garner high number of sales for its diesel variant despite the high demand for diesel cars and its diesel variant being priced cheaper. On analysis it found people buying the petrol variant did not hesitate to pay more for additional luxury features while buyers of the diesel variant preferred its fuel economy. To finid the ideal mix of both cars, Renault has now launched the Fluence E4.
The Renault Fluence E4 is a diesel sedan but with the premium features of the petrol variant. This new variant is priced at Rs.15.2 lakhs (ex showroom price Mumbai) and is Rs.1.49 lakhs more expensive than the standard Fluence diesel. The Fluence E4 gets 10 new features that are available as standard in the petrol version. They are:
Auto headlamps
Rear parking sensors
Electrically adjustable and foldable rear view mirrors
Beige shade leather upholstery
Rear sun-blinds
Cruise control
Rain sensing wipers
Chrome-lined trunk-lid and window sills
USB and Bluetooth equipped audio system
Dual zone climate control and rear AC ducts
The only difference between the Fluence E4 and the petrol variant is that it has a manual gearbox only while the petrol once comes with only the automatic.
