Ford's Festive Season Model: Endeavour Hurricane

The Ford Endeavour is India's first premium SUV in many ways. It is the car that offered acres of space and comfort along with brute force. The charm of the Endeavour was slightly dented after the arrival of other premium SUVs such as the Toyota Fortuner and the Chevrolet Captiva.

Ford India has now made an effort to boost the Endeavour's image with a new limited edition variant called the Hurricane. The Ford Endeavour Hurricane is priced at Rs.22.13 lakhs (ex-showroom price, Delhi)and offers a long list of features. The Hurricane will be the top end variant of the Endeavour and is Rs.40,000 more expensive the four wheel drive model.

The Endeavour Hurricane gets four new features to catch buyer's attention. They are a new bold front budge bar that will add to the powerful look of the SUV. Another feature is a new convex mirror placed on the rear hatch door to help you ascertain the size of the car while parking.

Two other features added to the Endeavour Hurricane are new 'Hurricane' graphics across the body and a chrome tipped exhaust. These two features are just visual enhancements and do not add to the car's p[performance.

Technical specifications of the new Endeavour remain the same as the ones already in the market. It is powered by a three litre common rail turbo diesel engine that pumps out 156bhp and 380Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a five-speed automatic gearbox.

The Hurricane is just a limited edition model and if you like the new looks do not wait. The Endeavour is a Premium SUV that will offer the comfort of an automatic gearbox when compared with the Toyota Fortuner.
