Nissan Motors has made the job of buying its car a little more easier by signing a deal with India's leading bank State Bank of India. The Nissan SBI deal will mean customers will get access to cheap car loans easily. SBI has offered Nissan's customers auto loans at 100 basis points lower than the market rate.

The deal will also benefit Nissan's dealers as SBI has said it would provide financing to Nissan's dealers too. Nissan believes it can reach out to prospective customers across the regions with easy finance options.

State bank of India which has over 14,000 branches across the country will offer Auto loans to Nissan customers at a rate of 11.25% (floating) and 11.75% (fixed), which are 75 to 100 basis points lower than the market offering of other banks.

Chief General Manager- SME of SBI, Mr Manas Kumar Nag said, “Through this partnership, SBI offers Nissan dealers a web based platform, which is capable of being fully integrated with the Corporate Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and provide real-time online transfer of funds."

Nissan currently sells the Micra small car, Sunny sedan along with the X-trail SUV and Teana premium sedan.
