Tata Nano Gets Facelift, In Showrooms Soon

The Tata Nano has been on sale in India since March 2009. Its recent performance in the market has not been very encouraging. The Indian small car has finally got some much needed support in the form of a facelift. There have been reports about a new Nano being launched called as the Nano V2. This face-lifted model already reportedly sighted in Tata showrooms could be the Nano V2.

Tata Motors is yet to make an official announcement of the face-lift. However there are several new Nanos already lined up at showrooms. According to reports the new Nano will begetting a more powerful and efficient engine. Tata has also reportedly developed a new two cylinder engine that will be available with the regular three cylinder engine.

The Tata Nano's latest version gets redesigned seats and fabric, new beige coloured dash board,headrests for front seats, floor mats, redesigned wheel caps and a rear view mirror for the passenger side. The cosmetic changes for the Nano include availability of new exciting paint colours. You can now have a Nano in pearl white, orange and green too.

If reports on the new Nano are to be believed this face-lifted version could be unveiled soon. The new features and paint colours will definitely make it more attractive to car buyers. If Tata has managed to make the Nano more fuel efficient then it will probably be able to attract two wheeler buyers too. We will just have to wait for the official word to get to know more about this new Nano.
