Skoda Rapid's Detailed Feature And Price List

The Skoda Rapid will soon hit Indian roads with all its glory. It is a new entry level sedan that is expected to take on the likes of the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, ford Fiesta and the Volkswagen Vento. The Rapid has been designed to be a comfortable city car with an ability to swallow miles with ease on the highway.

The Skoda Octavia, which has been replaced by the Rapid was considered as a driver friendly car. Skoda has tried to maintain the same feel in the new sedan too. It will be available with two petrol engines and a diesel engine. The petrol engines are pretty much same but one can also be mated to a six speed automatic gear box.

As we have already mentioned in our previous article on the Rapid, the Rapid will be available in three variants – Active, Ambition and Elegance. The automatic transmission is available only with the Ambition and the Elegance in the petrol version. You have to make do with the manual gearbox in the diesel variant.

Now with the two petrol and one diesel engine and the manual and automatic gearbox we have eight variants of the Rapid. Each of these variants are priced just below the closest Vento. Hereis the full price list (all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi)
