Honda Launches Face-lifted City At Rs.6.99 Lakhs

The City has been undoubtedly the leading C Segment sedan in the country. It has been able to maintain its market share despite not having a diesel engine thanks to its build quality and reliable performance.
Honda has made several changes to the 2012 City"s exterior and interior. The exterior changes are as follows. The front grille is now a chromed version. The front and rear bumpers have also been restyled. The city will look sexier thanks to its ten spoke alloy wheels. The tail lights are also different and new. The city"s ground clearance has also been increased to 165mm making it more pot hole friendly.
Coming to the Interior changes, the most noticeable change is the availability of a sun roof in the top end model. Other notable changes are that the seats get a new fabric, the center control panel is new and the interior has some chrome fittings.
Honda has said the city will now be available with a new entry level variant called the Corporate edition. This version will have a price tag of Rs.6.99 lakhs. This variant is followed by the E which is priced at Rs.7.70 lakhs, the S variant is priced at Rs.8.20 lakhs. The top end variant is the V. It is the only City variant that comes with both manual and automatic gearboxes. So we have the V MT (manual transmission) at Rs8.70 lakhs and the V AT (automatic Transmission).
You can also buy the top end variant along with sunroof and leather seats. The V MT with these features will cost Rs.9.50 lakhs while the V AT is priced at Rs.10.22 lakhs.
