Honda To Increase Jazz Production After Sales Jump

The earlier Jazz which was priced above Rs.7 lakhs was considered too expensive for a Honda hatchback. Honda then dramatically reduced the price of the new facelifted Jazz by Rs.1.75 lakhs bringing its price closer to its competitors. Sales have increased equidistantly since then.
The Jazz is now being considered by buyers of cars such as the Maruti Suzuki Swift and the Hyundai i20. This has increased demand over the past two months necessitating a production increase. Honda is also offering some offers at showrooms to push sales during the festive season. Had the Jazz been equipped with a diesel engine, the hatchback would have offered a more stronger competition to the Swift and the i20.
The Jazz is powered by a 1.2-litre iVTEC petrol engine that churns out 90PS. The Jazz's handling has been loved by all due to its impressive handling aided by its Drive-By-Wire system. Another aspect that has impressed buyers is the Jazz's good looking and spacious interior. The fit and finish as well as the materials used is of much better quality than several competitive models.
Honda's known reliability, quality of engines and sturdiness along with the reduced price has meant the Jazz is being lapped up by buyers despite its lack of a diesel engine. Another reason for the Jazz's success could be the long waiting period for the Maruti Suzuki Swift. The hatchback's production has come close to a halt due to a series of strikes at Maruti Suzuki's Manesar plant.
